My first actual lj entry.
:)
I should probably be in bed, considering I have to be up and at work at 6:30 in the morning. Oh well, at least my fiance (Ricky) is coming with me so I am not alone. We actually work together, but our
Anyways, last night was one hell of a night. For background... back before Christmas, there was a fire in my apartment complex. About two units down from the unit I was living in before I upgraded. Then, last night, around midnight, I was half way asleep; Ricky comes into the bedroom, getting ready for bed after our friend left (boys and their video games). Our bedroom window is like right next to the stairs, so I thought our friend was messing with me and was stomping on the stairs. But then it didn't stop, so I reach for my phone to call said friend, and when I finally get him on the phone, he says, "There's a fire!" And where is this said fire? In the unit right next to mine! (Well, not literally, it is the unit next to mine in number, but the buildings have a seperation in them.) Turns out, thankfully, it was a fire this time, just the jackass in the downstairs apartment left a pot on the stove and left the burner on. But, seriously, how dumb can you be? It created so much smoke it was coming through the roof, so the firemen thought it was the upstairs apartment and they tore it up looking for the fire. It was seriously scary.
Hm. What else? I don't really know how to go into a background of my life, so that will probably just come and go throughout entries. In fanfiction news, I have about a quarter of Chapter Nine of Fate Doesn't Give Second Chances written, and I am almost finished with the prologue/first chapter of my Emmett/Rosalie story. But I am holding off on posting that until I finish Fate because I don't want to have one story take away from the other, like Fate did with Without Hope.
Well, maybe I should head off to bed. Good night!
